Henry Lewis, Attorney At Law

Background

Mr. Lewis is a native Bostonian, and attended school at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Psychology, and his Master's of Arts Degree in Community and Social Psychology with a certification in Domestic Violence Prevention.

In 2000, Mr. Lewis moved to the Bay Area. He attended law school at Golden Gate University, where he was on the Dean’s Honor list in 2006, and 2007. In Law School, Mr. Lewis developed a passion for Family Law. He enrolled in the Family Law class taught by Family Law Commissioner Elizabeth Hendrickson, and a Family Law Practice seminar taught by retired Family Law Judge, Roderick Duncan. During his Law School Program, Mr. Lewis also worked at an externship with the Family Law division of the Superior Court of San Francisco, working for Commissioner Marjorie Slabach.

After Law School, Mr. Lewis worked as a Family Law attorney for two years, where he worked primarily in Alameda and Contra Costa counties. He was also a member of the Alameda, and San Francisco Bar Associations, and a volunteer lawyer with the San Francisco Volunteer Legal Services Program.

When not practicing law, Mr. Lewis enjoys reading fiction, biking, cooking, and photography.
